celebrate-my-driveCelebrate My Drive is a community celebration to encourage teens to practice safe teen driving. It focuses on the positives of safe choices behind the wheel, as teens celebrate the freedom that comes with the rite of passage of getting a drivers’ license.

It’s also a chance for your high school to win:

  • One of 10 $100,000 grants
  • One of 90 $25,000 grants

Or maybe even a grand prize concert for your school by a chart-topping music artist.

State Farm Celebrate My Drive

State Farm New LogoCelebrate My Drive® was created by State Farm in 2012 to share the belief that safe driving is a lifelong commitment from the start. Since last year, thousands of students, family, friends and high school staff members have joined the party.

With good reason – auto crashes are the number one cause of death among teens in North America. But Celebrate My Drive isn’t about scare tactics or negativity. It’s about emphasizing the positives of safe driving. If we can reinforce habits like remembering to think “2N2” whenever teens drive – keeping 2 eyes on the road and 2 hands on the wheel – we’ll save lives together.

The 2013 celebration goes into overdrive October 18-26, when local State Farm agents will host student-focused events across North America. It’s a chance for communities to rally around young drivers and encourage them to make safe driving choices every time they’re behind the wheel.

Your community will also be encouraged to make safe driving commitments on behalf of your high school during the commitment period. The more commitments made, the better your chances of winning a grant for your high school and maybe even a concert by a chart-topping music artist.
