CSULBThis year ELLAS welcomed a new partner, Hermanas Unidas, Long Beach (A Latina Sisterhood Sorority). Annually ELLAS and Hermans Unidas Long Beach, will co-host ELLAS Afternoon Tea & Speaker Series. Bringing together high school seniors, university Latinas, campus professors and Latina professionals to benefit from an atmosphere of social etiquette and conversation that lends to identifying steps to career success, financial empowerment, the importance of networking and “Paying it Forward”.

The event is being held at California State University Long Beach, Soroptimist House on Friday, September 20, 2013.The goal is to expand the collaborative to include 15 Hermanas Unidas Sorority Chapters at various universities in California.
